Our Service Advisor is a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional who acts as the bridge between our customers and our technicians. This role is responsible for understanding customers’ vehicle concerns, documenting them clearly, and ensuring accurate communication throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate delivers excellent service while supporting the shop’s operational and sales goals

Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
- Greet customers and listen attentively to their concerns about vehicle issues.
- Ask clarifying questions to fully understand symptoms or problems.
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, including cost and time estimates.
Vehicle Intake & Diagnosis
- Create work orders with detailed descriptions of vehicle issues.
- Communicate customer concerns accurately to technicians for diagnosis and repair.
Estimate Preparation
- Translate technician inspections into clear, customer-friendly explanations.
- Prepare cost estimates for parts and labor.
- Communicate with customers for approvals on recommended work.
- Explain which repairs are urgent and which may be scheduled for a later date.
Liaison Role
- Act as the communication bridge between technicians and customers.
- Keep customers informed on repair progress and any changes to cost or completion timelines.
Customer Service & Follow-Up
- Ensure every customer is satisfied with their experience.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Schedule customer appointments and coordinate with the service team.
- Process payments and close out work orders efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic automotive knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer service mindset.
- Sales ability and comfort discussing service recommendations.
Compensation
This is a commission-based role, primarily focused on customer interaction and sales of service work.
